New England Trial Services will provide the equipment necessary for successful presentation of your evidence. We can customize an equipment package to meet all your needs. If you have your own equipment, we can provide installation and operation.
Our Trial Presentation Consultants and Technicians will work with you to determine what you need and how to incorporate your equipment into the presentation system.
The following describes the standard equipment and usage. If you have specialized needs or requirements, please contact us. One of our consultants will design a custom solution for you.
- Trial Presentation Computer with software –
Pentium™ 4 notebook computer specially designed for Trial Presentation use. Includes 80 GB hard drive, 1 GB RAM, 128 MB graphics accelerator. Includes Sanction™ or Trial Director™ Trial Presentation software, MS Office Suite™, Adobe Acrobat™ and ShowBiz™ video editing software.
- LCD Projector –
2300 ANSI Lumens and 1024 x 768 SVGA resolution provide a bright, clear picture under most courtroom lighting conditions. Project documents, images and digital video to screen sizes up to 10’ diagonal. Quiet operation ensures no distractions or difficulty hearing testimony.
- 8’ Diagonal Tripod Projection Screen –
Provides large viewing area from any angle. Tripod base for portability and easy set-up.
- Switcher/Distribution Amplifier –
Provides multiple inputs/outputs for computer/ image presenters. Allows operator to send live signal or black screen to projector/witness/judge monitors and preview signal to client monitor. Trial team can confirm exhibit images before publishing to jury.
- 17” LCD Flat Panel Monitors (4) –
Provided for Plaintiff/Defense counsel tables, Witness stand and Judge. Allows preview of exhibit images before presentation to Jury.
- Amplified sound system –
Provides audio for digital video deposition presentation. Amplified speakers and remote volume control allow for easy and quick control of audio signal.
- Elmo™ Visual Presenter –
Document camera/visual presenter allows presentation of paper exhibits, photographs or any item that has not been electronically scanned. Can display 3 dimensional objects through monitors and projection system.
- Videotape Encoding –
Convert analog videotapes to digital video files for presentation through courtroom projection/sound system. Necessary for use in Trial Presentation system to allow deposition clip creation.
- Transcript Synchronization –
Synchronize digital video with court reporters official transcript. Necessary for Trial Presentation transcript search and clip creation functions.
- 120 GB External Hard Drive – If needed. Allows storage of multiple video deposition files and thousands of electronic document image files.
